About the role
- Deliver profitable growth through achievement of financial KPIs relating to production,
profitability and expenses including new business conversion, target loss ratios and target retention.
- Develop professional and productive relationships with Brokers and Stakeholders
- Prepare quotations, renewals and endorsements within underwriting guidelines
- Provide support to Junior Underwriters
- Get involved with process and procedure improvements
About you
- Proven experience in Financial Lines Underwriting or Broking with Professional Indemnity
- Ideally come from an Underwriting Agency background
- Solid market relationships with intermediaries
- Strong technical knowledge
- Proven track record in managing and developing broker relationships
- Ability to drive a culture of service excellence
- Strong interpersonal skills - particularly collaboration and engagement skills
- Sound communication skills - including written and presentation skills
