The Role

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting clients, developing junior team members and delivering high-quality accounting and taxation services.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting a portfolio of clients across a range of industries
- Providing technical guidance, coaching and feedback to junior team members
- Reviewing financial statements, income tax returns and activity statements prepared by junior accountants




- Liaising with the ATO and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients
- Identifying opportunities to add value and strengthen client outcomes
- Collaborating with colleagues across the business to deliver exceptional client service
- Building trusted relationships with clients and becoming a valued adviser in their corner

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A tertiary qualification in Accounting
- CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
- Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience working within public practice accountingExcellent client relationship and communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience using Xero, including a working knowledge of payroll
- A genuine interest in technology and finding smarter ways to work
- A desire to mentor and support the development of others
