A childcare centre in Hurstville is looking for an experienced childcare professional to lead the team. We are looking for someone who has strong communication skills, leadership skills and demonstrated success in leading a service and is passionate about helping children to have the best possible start in life.

This full-time position offers the opportunity for growth and development with career opportunities such as Area Manager in the future.

As the Centre Director, you will use your experience and leadership qualities to engage and motivate your centre team to drive continuous improvement in all aspects across centre operation and to extend your network of relationships with children, families and educators.

You will establish respectful and reciprocal relationships with families and engage in networks within the centre’s local community.





This role will be responsible for the running and day-to-day management and it is expected that the Director will remain hands-on with the children and practice of the centre.

- Robust communication skills, reliable and punctual
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and national Quality Standard
- Exceptional knowledge of safety and wellbeing
- Willingness to learn and be a part of the team
- Willingness to work both on the floor and off the floor.
