In-Process Quality Control Officer (Morning Shift)

We are looking for a detail-oriented IPQC Officer to join our team at our manufacturing site in Belrose.

This role is responsible for performing in-process quality checks across both our production and packaging operations, ensuring products are manufactured and packaged in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, GMP requirements and quality standards.

You will work closely with Production, Packaging and QA teams to identify issues early, ensure documentation is accurate and complete, and support the consistent release of high-quality products

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct routine in-process quality checks across production and packaging areas.
- Monitor production processes to ensure they comply with approved specifications, procedures and GMP requirements.
- Perform checks including product appearance, weights, dimensions, packaging, labelling, coding and other defined quality attributes.
- Verify batch manufacturing and packaging documentation is completed accurately and in accordance with procedures.
- Identify, document and elevate quality deviations, defects and non-conformances.
- Conduct line clearance and start-up checks where required.
- Inspect packaging lines and verify correct materials, labels, packaging components and product information are being used.
- Work with Production and Packaging teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Ensure samples are collected correctly and submitted for further testing where required.
- Maintain accurate and timely IPQC records and documentation.
- Support investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist QA with audits,



inspections and other quality-related activities as required.
- Promote a strong quality and GMP culture across the manufacturing site.

About You

You will be someone who is highly observant, organised and comfortable working directly on the manufacturing floor. You understand that small details can have a significant impact on product quality and customer safety.

- Previous experience in IPQC, QA, QC or a similar quality role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in vitamins and supplements, nutraceutical, food, cosmetics or FMCG manufacturing will be highly regarded.
- Good understanding of GMP, quality systems and manufacturing processes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify problems and confidently raise issues when required.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Production, Packaging and QA teams.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to quality and continuous improvement.
