About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role involves assembling metal and fabricated components, sub-assemblies, and equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and work instructions.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, values safety, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly

- Assemble fabricated metal components in line with technical drawings and SOPs

- Perform mechanical fitting, bolting,



alignment and welding preparation

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders

- Maintain accurate production records

Machine/Equipment Operation

- Operate production machinery including overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely and efficiently

- Set up machines and perform changeovers as required

- Troubleshoot basic machinery issues and escalate where required

Safety & Quality

- Complete equipment pre-start checks

- Follow all WHS procedures and company policies

- Complete quality checks to ensure products meet specifications

- Maintain a clean and safe work workplace

- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives

About You

- Experience in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

- Experience operating hand/power/ pneumatic tools and machinery

- Robust attention to detail

- A solid understanding of workplace health & safety practices

- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude

- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

- Willingness to undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment (including functional capacity assessment) and Drug and alcohol screening
