SCIS Group is a specialist maintenance company trusted by leading Government and Commercial clients across Australia. We’re looking for a motivated Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our Newcastle team. This is your chance to step into a secure, full-time role where no two days are the same, and your skills are genuinely appreciated.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Mow, edge, and trim lawns to maintain a tidy and well-manicured appearance

- Prune and shape shrubs, hedges, and trees to ensure neatness and plant health

- Weed, mulch, and prepare garden beds for planting

- Blow and clear leaves, clippings, and debris from walkways and driveways

- Plant and care for a variety of gardens and landscapes

- Undertake weeding and apply herbicides in line with safety guidelines

- Prepare, clean, and maintain all equipment to ensure reliable performance

- Perform general garden maintenance tasks as required

About You

You take pride in your work, enjoy variety, and have a practical, hands-on approach.

- Previous experience in lawn and garden maintenance

- Horticulture Certificate (preferred but not essential)

- Current C Class Driver’s Licence

- Ability to complete a Police Check and Pre-employment Medical (arranged for you)





- A proactive attitude with a commitment to quality and safety
