Position Details

You will be responsible for directing and controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure the secure and efficient movement of road users, workers, and equipment within and around work zone.

Key responsibilities

- Implement and maintain traffic control measures in accordance with approved Traffic Management Plans
- Direct and control vehicle and pedestrian traffic using stop/slow bats and other approved methods.
- Set up, monitor, and remove traffic management signage, barriers, and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, contractors, and the public.
- Report hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions promptly.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.

Role Requirements

- Current valid Driver’s License
- Traffic Management Ticket (Traffic Controller accreditation/certification)
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and shift work if required.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
