About the Role

MSS Security is seeking a Full Time Assistant Team Leader to join our team at mining village site in Dysart. This role requires you to assist in leading and support the onsite security team while ensuring the safe, secure and productive operation of village security services. This is a 7 on 7 off roster, open to candidates residing in Dysart, FIFO from Brisbane and DIDO residing within a radius of 600 kms.

Duties

- Assist the Team Leader in mentoring and supporting Village Security Officers, including delivering site-based training and daily pre-starts.
- Coordinate security operations, resource allocation and compliance with site procedures, audits and training requirements.
- Conduct patrols, welfare checks and inspections to maintain a safe, secure and compliant village environment.
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid where required, and complete accurate reports and documentation.
- Build positive relationships with customers and stakeholders while responding professionally to enquiries and site issues.
- Provide operational support to site leadership, including after-hours assistance,



injury management coordination and night shift coverage as required.

Skills & Experience

- Full Australian working rights
- Current Unrestricted Drivers Licence
- Current QLD Security Licence (class 1 - unarmed, crowd control, monitoring)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain)
- Prior experience in the security experience required.
- Ability to successfully pass a Full medical assessment, including a Drug & Alcohol test
- Master license: 41299
