Job Description

We are looking for self-motivated Data Engineers to design, build, deploy, and operate ETL jobs. The role involves extracting data from SQL databases and CSV files, transforming it into consumer-specific CSV formats, and securely delivering the files to downstream systems through SFTP or similar mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop reliable ETL jobs and data interfaces.
- Extract data from SQL databases and CSV files.
- Transform and format data based on consumer requirements.
- Deliver files securely using SFTP or similar file-transfer mechanisms.
- Deploy ETL jobs to non-production and production environments.
- Implement appropriate controls to protect PII and sensitive data.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and support ETL jobs in production.
- Prepare technical designs for scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Collaborate with consumers and technical teams to understand interface requirements.





Required Skills and Experience

- Strong experience with Python, Java, SQL, XML, and AWS.
- Hands-on experience building and operating ETL jobs or similar data-processing solutions.
- Experience with CSV-based data interfaces and SFTP file transfers.
- Experience deploying applications across non-production and production environments.
- Knowledge of data security, PII protection, and production controls.
- Ability to independently analyze problems and develop suitable technical designs.
- Robust communication, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data engineering and automation practices.
- Experience with job scheduling, monitoring, and operational support.
