The Marketing Communications Coordinator supports the marketing function under the direction and supervision of the Marketing and Communications Manager. The right candidate will support all areas of traditional marketing and be a key part of driving brand recognition, early detection of kidney disease, and engagement. You will be responsible for managing PR internally, supporting events across the organisation, creating engaging online and offline content, and social media moderation to increase engagement of our programs and services.
You will be part of a small marketing team that works fast and collaboratively across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage media release development process
- Proactive media outreach, pitching and engagement
- Manage incoming media enquiries, finding spokespeople, case studies, and briefing on messaging
- Support event planning and delivery across the organisation, including organising suppliers, creating comms
- Design and develop marketing content, including videos, short and long form visual and written content
- Manage Case Study database, interview appropriate case studies, and direct case studies to campaigns/media/relevant departments
- Manage merch and events materials
- Work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to implement marketing strategies to support delivery of key business goals
- Help deliver new brand initiatives and marketing campaigns
- Help ensure brand alignment and consistency based on Brand Guidelines across the organisation
About you
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing OR 3+ years work experience in PR/Marketing/Comms
- A passion for great marketing that creates real impact
- Experience in Facebook community management and moderation
- Exceptional word-smithing and written communication skills
- Creative eye and ease using Canva and other content development apps
- Proactive, positive and collaborative approach to work
- Proven time management, project management, and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure, especially at events where you need to think on your feet
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Confident and open communicator, able to collaborate with wide range of internal and external stakeholders, from printers to the CEO.
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willing to obtain one)
