Dubbo Health Service is seeking a Locum Emergency Medicine Registrar to support Emergency Department coverage.
This role is suited to an ED Registrar with recent Emergency Medicine experience who is confident working in a busy regional ED setting. You will work alongside FACEMs and JMOs , supporting patient assessment, treatment planning, clinical documentation and escalation of care where required.
Clinical Environment:
Emergency Department setting at Dubbo Health Service
Working alongside FACEMs and JMOs
Afternoon/evening shift pattern, generally 14:00 – 00:00
Supportive hospital environment with senior escalation pathways available
Suitable for doctors with recent Emergency Medicine registrar-level experience
Key Duties:
Assess and manage ED presentations
Support treatment planning and patient flow
Complete clinical documentation and handover
Escalate patient concerns appropriately
Work collaboratively with FACEMs, JMOs, nursing and hospital teams
Eligibility Criteria:
Current AHPRA Registration
Recent Emergency Medicine registrar-level experience
Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
Ability to work safely within scope and elevate appropriately
Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
