Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care – Bega NSW

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our executive team at Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care, as General Manager Corporate Services. This is a new position that will support growth and development in our aged care service, which supports the Bega Valley community. Built on a tradition of almost 50 years delivering quality care and services, Sapphire Coast Community Aged Care is at the heart of our community, ensuring cutting-edge and contemporary service delivery across our retirement, home care and residential communities.

In this role you will:

- Lead and inspire people to deliver great care and services
- You will drive and support innovative business practices to ensure sustainability
- You have an opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of staff and clients everyday

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior leadership position responsible for business development and human resources
- Tertiary qualification in a related field such as business, human resources, health management, information technology




- Knowledge of the Aged Care Act 2024 and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission quality standards
- Well-developed business and analytical skills, with a proven track record to meet strategic objectives
- Proven management and leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate staff
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, conflict management and negotiation skills
- Competent computer skills and the ability to use data and information management systems
- Experience driving service development or business improvement initiativesDemonstrated experience in human resources principles and people management
- Understanding of quality improvement principles, accreditation processes, WHS legislation and other Acts affecting this position
- A passion for excellence and demonstrated empathy for older people, commitment to innovative best practice and quality improvement
- Postgraduate qualifications in Management, Aged Care, Health Management
- Aged Care experience
