The Opportunity

Reporting to the APAC Financial Controller, this is a hands-on senior leadership role responsible for leading the financial management and performance of the Australian business, including our manufacturing plant. You will combine strategic financial leadership with close involvement in day-to-day operations, partnering with senior leaders to drive profitability, manage risk, identify opportunities and support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end financial management of the Australian business, providing strategic oversight across financial performance, manufacturing operations, product costing and inventory.

Drive accurate, timely and insightful financial reporting, forecasting and analysis, translating financial and operational data into clear actions for the business and corporate stakeholders.

Lead the preparation and review of EBITDA, Sales Flash, variance analysis and operational performance reporting, identifying key trends,



risks and opportunities.

Provide strong oversight of balance sheet integrity, working capital, intercompany transactions and statutory compliance.

Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning and multi-year business planning processes.

Partner with the General Manager, Plant Manager and Sales leadership to influence business decisions, improve profitability and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.

Drive financial discipline and continuous improvement across the business, with a focus on cost management, operational efficiency and commercial performance.

Lead, mentor and develop the Finance team, building capability and fostering a high-performance, commercially focused culture.

Ensure robust financial controls, taxation, statutory and corporate governance requirements are maintained.

Lead external audit processes and act as a key finance partner to corporate Finance and other stakeholders.

About you,

You are a commercially focused, hands-on finance leader with experience operating in a global workplace and partnering closely with business and operational leaders.

CPA or CA qualified, with a relevant tertiary qualification

10+ years’ senior-level experience in financial management, financial control or audit

Strong technical accounting knowledge across taxation, compliance and corporate reporting

Strong manufacturing finance experience, with hands-on understanding of plant operations, cost management and financial performance

Proven experience leading, developing and mentoring finance teams

Strong analytical and commercial skills,



with the ability to turn financial data into clear, actionable insights

Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable working at a detailed operational level

Confident communicator with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and at all levels

Experience in manufacturing, automotive, automotive aftermarket or a similar environment is highly regarded
