Our Environment & Planning practice group is recognised as oneof the leading teams in Australia and demand on our services hascreated an opportunity for a Senior Associate to join the Brisbaneteam reporting into JulieaneMateru and JacquelinePlant.
The Norton Rose Fulbright Environment & Planning team acts formajor corporate clients, developers, infrastructure providers,industry and government. You will be engaged in a mix oflitigation, advice and transaction work focussed on planning lawissues. This may include planning approvals and appeals, majorproject approvals, planning agreements, land acquisition, adviceand due diligence.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have;
- A minimum of 5 years PQE gained within a reputableEnvironment & Planning practice
- Experience in the conduct of proceedings relating toplanning matters, including the Planning and EnvironmentCourt
- Robust time management & organisational skills with thecapacity to manage multiple projects and conflicting prioritiessimultaneously
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills includingstrong drafting skills
- An interest in mentoring Associates, Lawyers andGraduates
- Strong academic achievements
