Laing O’Rourke, with joint venture partner Amentum Australia, will playa central rolein supportingAustralianNaval Infrastructure (ANI)to develop and deliver theNuclear-PoweredSubmarineConstructionYard(NPSCY)project at Osborne, South AustraliaWe will provide program and construction management services of nuclear related civil infrastructure,site‑widenuclear licensee developmentexpertise, and nuclear safety leadership.

We are currently seeking a Senior Safety Advisor to join our AUKUS team. Ifyou’reready to domeaningfulandcareer-defining work.

Key Responsibilities

- Support site teams and subcontractors to deliver HSE best practice.
- Coach and mentor teams to strengthen safety culture and performance.
- Implement HSE Management Systems and project HSE plans.
- Conduct HSE audits and assurance activities through to close-out.




- Engage proactively with teams to identify and resolve HSE concerns.

About You

- Cert IV in OHS or relevant Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety
- More than 5 years construction site-based experience.
- Demonstrated audit experience along with experience in coaching to develop safety peers and project personnel in Health & Safety.
- Hands on and demonstrated experience in assisting supervision and management with HSE issue / action close out within the workplace.
- Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1 level.
