Our Client is seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technician to join a well established maintenance team servicing industrial facilities across the Maitland & Upper Hunter region.
This hands on role offers variety, stability, and the opportunity to work on a broad range of commercial and industrial HVAC&R; systems within a safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, servicing, maintenance and repairs of air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Fault finding and diagnostics across a range of equipment
- Working on split systems, ducted systems, VRF units, coolers, ice machines and fixed plant equipment
- Completing preventative and reactive maintenance tasks
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with WHS requirements
- Completing relevant reporting, permits and maintenance documentation
- Maintaining tools, equipment and work areas to a high standard
- Liaising with supervisors and site personnel to ensure service delivery expectations are met
Skills & Experience
- Current NSW Driver Licence
- Proven experience in maintenance and servicing of HVAC&R; systems
- Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable, professional and well-presented
- White Card
- First Aid Certificate
- Working at Heights
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
- MDG25 Awareness Training
