At Jacobs, we are challenging today to reinvent tomorrow. As our Brisbane Civil & Aviation team continues to grow, we are looking for a Senior Associate Civil Engineer – Drainage to help shape some of the region's most significant infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand.

In this senior leadership role, you'll play a key part in shaping the future growth of our Civil & Aviation team while delivering some of the most complex and rewarding infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand. You'll work closely with clients, project teams and technical specialists to develop innovative drainage and hydrology solutions that create positive outcomes for communities and industry.

You'll provide technical leadership across all stages of project delivery, guiding multidisciplinary teams and supporting quality outcomes from planning and design through to construction. Working in partnership with clients, you'll help understand their priorities, anticipate future needs and build trusted, long-term relationships.

As a Senior Associate, you'll collaborate with commercial, technical and operational leaders across Jacobs, contributing to business growth, project opportunities and the continued success of our Civil & Aviation practice. You'll also work closely with our global delivery teams, fostering collaboration across regions and bringing the best of Jacobs' worldwide expertise to our clients.

This role offers the opportunity to mentor and support developing engineers, share technical knowledge and help create an inclusive team environment where people feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.



You'll play an important role in promoting Jacobs' Culture of Caring, helping to cultivate a workplace that prioritises wellbeing, belonging and professional development.

You'll also contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects spanning aviation, defence, data centres, renewable energy, ports and maritime infrastructure, Brisbane City Council programs and major transport infrastructure projects across ANZ

Here's what you'll need

- Relevant Civil Engineering qualifications supported by RPEQ accreditation
- Extensive civil engineering experience, complemented by deep drainage and hydrology expertise
- Experience guiding the delivery of complex infrastructure projects and providing technical oversight
- The ability to build trusted client relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholder groups
- A passion for mentoring, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of others
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering quality outcome
