About the role

Reporting to the General Counsel - Executive Director, Legal and Compliance, you will lead the organisation's privacy, information access, recordsgovernanceand data breach management functions, ensuring compliance with relevant NSW legislation and best practice standards.

You willprovideexpert advice on privacy, GIPA and information governance matters, oversee data breach and information access processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support effective risk management,transparencyand organisational integrity.

What we’re looking for

Demonstrated experience leading privacy, information governance, GIPA and records management programs within a complex and highly regulated environment.

Extensive knowledge of NSW privacy, information access and records management legislation, governanceframeworksand public sector accountability requirements.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, advise and build organisational capability at all levels.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide sound, evidence-based advice and manage sensitive, high-risk matters with confidence andintegrity.
