About the role
Reporting to the CEO and leading four Patient Services Managers, you will be accountable for the strategic leadership and delivery of high-quality, patient-centred services across four clinical sites. You will set the direction for patient services while enabling teams to perform at their best, ensuring patient experience, access and outcomes remain central to organisational strategy.
Working in close partnership with the Executive Manager - Business Operations, you will help build a scalable and sustainable model of care. This is a strategic and hands-on role for a leader who can translate enterprise priorities into consistent site-level execution while fostering an empowered, accountable and compassionate culture.
What you'll lead
- Define and deliver the patient services strategy across all sites, aligned with organisational goals
- Improve the end-to-end patient journey, including access, flow and service consistency
- Coach and develop Patient Services Managers as capable people leaders who enable their teams to succeed
- Build a culture of psychological safety, accountability,
continuous learning and patient-first decision-making
- Partner with Business Operations to align workforce, training, systems, governance and operational capability with frontline needs
- Use patient insights and performance data to identify trends, guide priorities and drive sustainable improvement
- Shape scalable workforce and care models that balance clinical quality, efficiency and sustainability
- Lead innovation, change and operational improvement without compromising patient care
About you
You are an experienced healthcare leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution. You lead through influence, partnership and coaching, and you are motivated by creating the conditions in which people can deliver exceptional patient care.
- Leadership experience in healthcare or a complex multi-service environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead both strategy and operations across multiple teams or locations
- Proven success improving patient experience, service quality or access at scale
- Experience working effectively in collaborative, matrix or shared-accountability structures
- An authentic values based leadership style and strong coaching capability
- Strong systems thinking, problem-solving, financial and operational acumen
- Confidence using data to make decisions and leading teams through change and transformation
- Ability to work and travel between multiple sites and support leaders in different locations
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Health Management, Business or a related field
- Leadership development in coaching or systems leadership will also be well regarded.
