About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Administrator to join our transport and logistics business based in Perth, WA.

The role will initially commence on a casual basis, approximately 3 days per week, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent part-time position for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will play an important role in supporting, maintaining and continually improving the organisation’s compliance and management systems in accordance with ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards.

The position will have a strong focus on internal auditing, safety and compliance, document control, risk management, training coordination, legislative compliance and reporting, ensuring the business continues to meet its regulatory, operational and certification requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.

- Maintain and update our ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.

- Monitor relevant legislation and compliance requirements.

- Maintain company policies, procedures and compliance documents.

- Assist with risk assessments, safety requirements and corrective actions.

- Maintain training, induction and compliance records.

- Prepare basic compliance reports for Management.

- Assist with incident, non-conformance and improvement processes.

- Ensure compliance documentation is accurate and up to date.





- Work with staff and Management to promote a robust safety and compliance culture.

Essential Requirements

- Recognised Internal Auditor qualification/certification – non-negotiable.

- Demonstrated experience conducting audits against ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.

- Demonstrated experience implementing, maintaining and improving ISO management systems.

- Strong understanding of WHS/OHS requirements and workplace safety systems.

- Knowledge and experience in legislative and regulatory compliance.

- Experience with risk identification, assessment and management.

- Experience managing document control and compliance records.

- Experience preparing Management Review reports and compliance performance data.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.

Desirable

- Experience within the transport, logistics, warehousing, heavy vehicle or training industries.

- Experience supporting external certification audits.

- Knowledge of heavy vehicle or transport safety requirements
