About the role
This position will provide a specialist procurement and contract management function to Amaroo. The role will be responsible for liaising with individual business areas to develop contract and tender documentation, coordinate the end-to-end contract and tender processes and manage contract compliance. The role is also responsible for providing advice, guidance and direction on procurement, contract management, compliance and other matters.
We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Contracts Specialist to join Amaroo Care Services Inc. This role is responsible for delivering specialist procurement and contract management services across the organisation. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, you will coordinate end-to-end procurement activities, manage contract lifecycles and provide expert advice to ensure compliance, value for money and effective contract outcomes. Key responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement, tender and contract management processes in accordance with organisational policies and delegations.
- Develop, coordinate and maintain procurement and tender documentation, including contract variations, renewals and extensions.
- Monitor contract performance, milestones and compliance requirements to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Maintain accurate contract registers, records and reporting systems across the organisation.
- Provide specialist procurement and contract management advice to internal stakeholders.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of procurement frameworks, policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and service providers.
- Prepare reports and documentation to support organisational governance and compliance requirements.
- Support the management and review of commercial agreements, grants and service contracts.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement practices, workflows and contract management processes.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract administration and contract management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Strong analytical, research and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and deliver quality outcomes within deadlines.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
- A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently when required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information with discretion, professionalism and integrity.
- Advanced computer skills and confidence working across a range of business systems.
- Knowledge of the aged care sector will be highly regarded.
- Current National Police Clearance and evidence of annual influenza vaccination.
