Coordinator Assets & Technical Services

- Full Time / Contract (4 years)
- Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
- Attractive salary package of circa $190,928 per annum (including superannuation and vehicle allowance)
- Location – Rockhampton

Your new role

Looking for an chance to lead significant community projects and help shape the future of the region? This diverse leadership role combines project delivery, asset management, aquatic facility oversight and stakeholder engagement. Reporting to the Manager Fleet and Facilities, you'll provide strategic and technical advice, drive continuous improvement, and ensure Council's community assets are safe, sustainable, and fit for purpose. Bring your engineering, project management and leadership expertise to a role where your work truly matters. This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

What We Are Looking For

- Bachelor of Engineering qualification with RPEQ registration (or the ability to obtain) and Pool Plant Operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and delivering capital works, infrastructure, and operational projects.
- Strong knowledge of aquatic facility operations, contract management, and relevant legislative and WHS requirements.
- Proven financial management skills, including budgeting, expenditure monitoring, and asset lifecycle planning.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, report writing, and relationship-building skills, with a strong customer and community focus
