Take the next step in your allied health careerIntrinsic Health is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist, or Occupational Therapist, to lead our residential aged care services across the Sunshine Coast region.This role combines clinical practice with team leadership, service coordination and relationship management. You will support a regional team of allied health clinicians while working closely with residential aged care partners to deliver consistent, person-centred and evidence-informed services.You will report to the Aged Care Operations Manager and receive dedicated off-floor time each fortnight to complete leadership and administrative responsibilities.For the right person, there may also be opportunities to expand your clinical work into community services or our Vitality Movement Centre, depending on your interests and preferred career direction. These opportunities are optional and can be explored as you grow within the role.
About the roleAs the Residential Aged Care Team Leader, you will provide local leadership, clinical support and service coordination across our Sunshine Coast aged care services.Your responsibilities will include:Leading and coordinating allied health services across residential aged care facilities within the Sunshine Coast regionMaintaining a clinical caseload while providing guidance and support to the regional clinical teamSupporting clinicians, new graduates and new team members through onboarding, supervision and day-to-day guidanceCoordinating rosters, leave coverage, timesheets and service requirementsBuilding collaborative relationships with facility managers, clinical teams and other key partnersSupporting assessments, mobility programs, falls prevention, equipment prescription and reablement servicesMonitoring clinical documentation, reporting, audits and service qualityFacilitating team meetings, staff training and professional development activitiesIdentifying opportunities for continuous improvement and supporting the rollout of new servicesProviding regular feedback,



updates and recommendations to the Aged Care Operations ManagerTravelling between facilities across the Sunshine Coast region as requiredThe role also supports compliance with aged care legislation, quality standards, reporting requirements and organisational processes.
About youThis opportunity would suit an experienced clinician who enjoys supporting others and is ready to take the next step in their qualified career.You will bring:A bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational TherapyCurrent unrestricted AHPRA registrationExperience delivering allied health services within residential aged careStrong knowledge of the Australian aged care sector, including AN-ACC, the Aged Care Quality Standards, quality indicators and reporting requirementsConfidence managing clinical priorities, documentation and service expectationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to build positive working relationships with clinicians, facility teams and organisational leadersA collaborative, practical and solutions-focused leadership styleStrong organisation and time-management skillsA willingness to travel across the local regionPrevious formal leadership experience will be highly regarded. We also welcome applications from experienced clinicians who demonstrate strong leadership qualities and are ready to progress into a team leadership position.
