About the role

Flow Water Services is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Yard Person / Store Person to join our team at our Bibra Lake facility in Western Australia. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our yard and storage operations. You will be responsible for ensuring our facility runs smoothly, with all equipment, materials and inventory properly managed and readily accessible. This role is essential to supporting our operational teams and ensuring we maintain the highest standards of safety and organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Receiving, checking and processing incoming deliveries and stock items

- Organising and storing materials, equipment and inventory in designated areas within the yard and storage facility

- Maintaining accurate records of stock levels and conducting regular inventory checks

- Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring items are correctly packed and loaded onto vehicles

- Cleaning and maintaining the yard and storage areas to ensure a secure and organised working environment

- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and trolleys (with appropriate qualifications)

- Monitoring stock levels and alerting management when supplies need replenishing

- Assisting with general yard maintenance tasks and minor repairs

- Following all health and safety procedures and maintaining compliance with company policies

- Supporting other team members as required to ensure smooth yard operations

What we're looking for

- Previous experience working in a yard, warehouse or storage environment

- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts (current licence or willingness to obtain certification)

- Strong organisational and inventory management skills





- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly

- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records

- Excellent health and safety awareness and compliance practices

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude

- Basic computer literacy for stock management systems

- Current driver's licence

- Current forklift licence
