L&S; Fabrication is an established Australian manufacturing company based in Epping, VIC. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced CAD Draftsman to join our team and support our design and production operations.

The Role

- Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks
- Design sheet metal parts and assemblies ready for fabrication
- Produce accurate flat patterns, bend details and production drawings
- Check dimensions, tolerances and specifications before production
- Work closely with production to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Assist with new product development and continuous design improvement

Requirements

- Thorough knowledge of SolidWorks is essential, particularly SolidWorks Sheet Metal
- Strong experience creating sheet metal parts, bends,



flanges, flat patterns and assemblies
- Ability to produce accurate manufacturing and engineering drawings
- Valuable understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, including laser cutting, bending and welding
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience in caravan, automotive or metal fabrication industries is highly regarded
