CSF Steel Fabricators, a division of CSF Industries is currently looking for experienced and reliable people to join our Cairns team.

We have full time and casual positions available across our workshop and yard operations:

- Leading Hand Boilermaker

- Leading Hand Industrial Spray Painter

- Boilermaker

- TA / Yardperson

Whether you're an experienced tradesperson, looking to step up into a Leading Hand role, or looking to get your foot in the door as a TA/Yardperson, we'd like to hear from you.

About the Roles
Leading Hand Boilermaker

We are looking for an experienced Boilermaker ready to take the next step into a Leading Hand role.

You will help lead the team, coordinate day-to-day workshop activities, ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard, and help keep projects moving to schedule.

Leading Hand Industrial Spray Painter

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Spray Painter with the skills and experience to take on a Leading Hand position.

You will oversee painting and coating work, coordinate the team, maintain quality standards and help make sure jobs are completed safely and on time.

Boilermaker

We are looking for experienced Boilermakers to join our team.

The role will involve structural steel fabrication, welding,



fitting and general workshop duties across a variety of projects.

TA / Yardperson

We are looking for a reliable TA / Yardperson to assist with general workshop and yard duties.

You will assist trades, move materials, keep the yard organised and help the team with day-to-day tasks.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, safety-focused and happy to get stuck in.

What You Will Bring

Depending on the position, we are looking for people who have:

- Relevant trade qualifications and experience

- Previous workshop or industrial experience

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- A reliable and positive attitude

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Driver's licence and reliable transport

Additional tickets and experience will be highly regarded, including:

- Forklift licence

- Rigging / Dogging

- Previous Leading Hand experience

- Industrial painting and coating experience
