We currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Accountant to join our Wagga branch and become part of our supportive finance team.

We’re looking for a motivated graduate accountant who is eager to build practical finance experience in a supportive, hands-on environment. This role is well suited to someone with strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in developing their accounting skills across a broad range of day-to-day finance functions.
Main duties:
Accounts support
- Process supplier invoices, maintain records and assist with supplier payments
- Support accounts receivable processes, including debtor statements, overdue account follow-up and credit applications
- Complete bank, EFTPOS, petty cash and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with fuel accounts, reimbursements and routine finance administration tasks
Month-end and reporting
- Maintain asset register records and supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end reconciliations, reporting and preparation of supporting documents
- Help identify and resolve discrepancies with guidance from the Financial Controller
General administration and learning
- Work closely with the finance team to learn internal systems,
processes and dealership operations
- Provide practical administration support across finance and sales-related accounts tasks
- Develop confidence and capability through exposure to a broad range of accounting functions
About you:
- Recently completed, or currently completing, an accounting, business or finance qualification
Skills:
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- High attention to detail and a careful, accurate approach to work
- Valuable organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Clear communication skills and confidence working with others
- Basic Microsoft Office skills and an interest in learning accounting systems
