We are looking for an experienced Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' PAE to join our Wills & Estates team. In this role, you will be responsible for advising clients on estate planning, preparing Wills and related documents and assisting with estate administration matters.
Our ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in delivering exceptional client service alongside high-quality legal work. You'll be a great communicator who can quickly build rapport, understand what matters most to your clients, and provide practical advice and support to help them achieve the best possible outcome.
The role is available part time or full time and some travel to our suburban office may be required.
About You
This position offers the chance work closely with the team and to gain experience across estate planning, Wills & Estates and general commercial matters. You will:
- Prepare and advise on Wills, Powers of Attorney and Advance Care Directives
- Conduct estate administration matters, including Grant applications and estate distributions
- Manage Family Provision Claims and other estate dispute matters
- Provide advice and support across a variety of general commercial matters
- Represent the firm at industry and networking events, building professional relationships and business development opportunities
Essentials for the role
- Minimum 3 years’ post-admission experience in Wills & Estates law
- Excellent interpersonal,
communication and organisation skills
- A client-centred approach to legal practice
- A keen attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers and professional networks
