That’s where you come in.Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Fleet Controller is a key operational role where you’ll be responsible for keeping our fleet moving safely, efficiently and on schedule. You’ll work closely with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure day-to-day transport operations run smoothly, and service commitments are met.
Based at our Allansford depot, you'll manage customer bookings, optimise equipment utilisation, coordinate loading and unloading activities, and ensure effective communication between drivers, customers and internal teams. You'll also support compliance, reporting and administration requirements, including driver run sheets, vehicle documentation and maintenance records, while helping maintain a safe and efficient operation.

What You’ll Need:Strong transport background with 2+ years' fleet allocation & scheduling experienceSound knowledge of NHVR laws and compliance requirementsA strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environmentDemonstrated positive safety leadership and safety-first mindsetStrong analytical & problem-solving skillsIntermediate computer & accurate data entry capabilityAbility to work autonomously and as part of a teamProfessional communication skills when dealing with customers and driversReliable, deadline-driven work ethicFlexibility with varying start timesAny form of Truck Licence (advantage)
