Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Purchaser to manage day-to-day procurement activities for a major infrastructure project. The role will coordinate local sourcing, supplier engagement, purchase orders, expediting and delivery of materials, equipment, consumables and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage local procurement, RFQs, quotations and purchase orders.
- Source and negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and delivery.
- Track and expedite orders to meet project and site requirements.
- Coordinate with Warehouse, Engineering, Logistics and Finance on procurement needs.
- Maintain procurement records and ensure compliance with purchasing procedures.





Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years’ experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in construction, infrastructure, energy, mining or heavy industry.
- Strong experience with RFQs, supplier evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders and expediting.
- Experience using SAP or other ERP/procurement systems.
- Solid commercial awareness and supplier management skills.
- Advanced organisational, communication and Excel skills.
- Experience with major infrastructure or construction projects is highly desirable.
