Little Zak’s Academy is looking for an exceptional leader to step into our 130-place service in Bomaderry.
Travel assistance is available for eligible candidates commuting from Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and surrounding Illawarra areas, subject to terms and conditions.

About the Role
As Centre Director,



you will take overall responsibility for the leadership and performance of the service.
Your focus will be on:Building a positive, accountable and high-performing team cultureDeveloping your educators, Room Leaders and emerging leadersCreating consistency and stability across the serviceLeading high-quality educational practice aligned with the EYLF and NQSBuilding strong and trusted relationships with children, families and the local communityMaintaining compliance and ensuring the service operates to a high standardDriving occupancy, enrolments and overall centre performanceManaging budgets and making sound commercial decisionsLeading the service as Nominated Supervisor
You will be supported, but you will also be trusted to lead.

About You
We are looking for a leader who is confident taking ownership and knows how to bring people with them.
You will have:
An ACECQA-approved Diploma or Early Childhood Teaching qualificationPrevious experience as a Centre Director, Nominated Supervisor or Assistant Director/2ICStrong leadership and people management skillsA sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS, National Regulations and complianceThe ability to build a solid team culture and develop educatorsCommercial awareness and an understanding of occupancy and centre performanceStrong communication and relationship-building skillsThe confidence to make decisions and take accountability for the outcomes of your serviceThe resilience and leadership capability to step into a challenging environment and create positive change
