About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and customer-focused Human Resources Coordinator to join our People & Performance team on a 12-month maternity leave contract.

This is a great opportunity for an HR qualified who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering high-quality people services. Full-time and part-time arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.

In this role, you'll provide HR advice and administration, coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, maintain HR systems, contribute to workforce initiatives, and support managers and employees across the organisation.

Working as part of a small and supportive team, you'll help create a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with employment legislation, industrial instruments, and organisational policies.

What You'll Be Doing
HR Advice & Employee Support

- Provide advice to managers and employees regarding HR policies, employment conditions, awards, and workplace matters.
- Escalate complex employment matters to the Manager People & Performance as required.
- Assist with performance management, investigations,



and industrial relations matters.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
- Support and coordinate HR projects and organisational initiatives.
- Manage employee surveys, including design, distribution, analysis, and reporting.
- Support organisational development and workforce planning activities.
- Coordinate activities and events that enhance employee engagement and organisational culture.

HR Administration
- Maintain and continuously improve the HR Management System and Employment Hero.
- Manage and update the People & Performance SharePoint site.
- Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
- Prepare HR reports and workforce data as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and efficiencies.
- Coordinate employee exit processes and documentation.

Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities across the organisation.
- Support managers with best-practice recruitment and selection processes.
- Coordinate employee screening and clearance requirements.
- Manage onboarding activities and ensure new employees receive a positive induction experience.
- Support managers to complete induction requirements in line with legal and organisational obligations.

Workplace Health, Safety & Wellbeing
- Support WHS compliance activities within the People & Performance team.




- Participate in workplace safety assessments and compliance activities.

What you'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Demonstrated experience coordinating recruitment and selection processes.
- Sound working knowledge of HR legislation, policies, and best-practice HR principles.
- Understanding of modern awards and providing advice on employment conditions.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- A high level of confidentiality, professionalism, tact, and discretion.
- Qualifications in Human Resources Management or a related discipline (desirable).
- Current Provide First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain.
