What you’ll do: Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of water monitoring professionals, providing technical guidance, training, work scheduling, and resource coordination to deliver operational excellence. Drive critical infrastructure projects, managing the installation, upgrade, and refurbishment of water monitoring sites, including contractor management and procurement activities. Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert, developing and presenting water monitoring reports, data insights, procedures, and recommendations to a range of audiences. Oversee field operations, ensuring the coordination, verification, archiving, and maintenance of high-quality water monitoring data and monitoring infrastructure across the region. Partner with councils, water utilities, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to deliver trusted water monitoring services that support informed decision-making. What we are looking for: Degree, Diploma,



or equivalent experience in Water Operations (Hydrography), Science, Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field. Strong hydrography or hydrometrics expertise, with hands-on experience managing water quality, groundwater and surface water monitoring programs and delivering high-quality environmental data outcomes. Technical expertise in water monitoring systems and databases, with experience using Hydstra highly regarded. Experience collecting, managing, analysing, and maintaining environmental monitoring data, with a commitment to data integrity, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships across councils, water utilities, government agencies, contractors, and internal teams. Who we are:
