About the role:

The Pharmacy Student supports the Pharmacy team in providing secure, efficient and customer-focused pharmacy services while gaining valuable practical experience and developing professional pharmacy skills under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists and pharmacy staff with day-to-day pharmacy operations.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Assist with dispensing activities under the supervision and direction of a pharmacist.
- Support the preparation, packaging and labelling of medications as directed.
- Assist customers with general enquiries and refer clinical or medication-related questions to the pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate and organised pharmacy records and documentation.
- Assist with stock management, including receiving, checking, rotating and replenishing stock

About You:

- Demonstrated interest in developing a career in pharmacy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Professional, reliable and responsible approach to work.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate appropriate professional conduct.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from qualified pharmacy staff.
