About the Role:

HGM are looking for experienced HD Mechanics to join our metro team.

Roster options available include:

- 7 Days On / 7 Days Rest (7DS / 7RR)

- 5 Days On / 2 Days Rest (5DS / 2RR)

- Maintain and repair machinery working on a range of OEM Equipment including but not limited to; Komatsu, Hitachi, Caterpillar, Liebherr and much more.

- Shutdown maintenance, mid-life’s and breakdowns.

- Perform daily maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy diesel equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Lead or contribute to major machinery rebuilds, including the replacement of components and system overhauls.

- Maintain high standards in maintenance practices, ensuring full compliance with company and industry safety regulations.

- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and stakeholders regarding equipment performance, repair needs, and safety concerns.

About you:

You are a qualified and experienced Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic who is an expert at troubleshooting and diagnosing faults, can perform scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments and repairs in a timely manner and looking to join a team of trade experts.





Please Note: Only Candidates with Full Australian Working Rights will be considered for these positions.

Trade qualifications, Tickets and Licences:

- Relevant Australian Recognised Trade Qualification – Cert 3 in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent

- Experience in a variety of OEM’s – Hitachi, CAT, Komatsu, Epiroc, etc.

- Experience in mining and civil equipment maintenance

- Current Manual Australian Drivers licence (HR desirable)

- High risk work licences – Forklift, Dogging (essential), Rigging/EWP (desirable)

- Working at Heights, Confined Space (desirable)

- National Police Clearance (issued in last 12 months) or able to attain

- Full rights to work in Australia
