About the role
We are seeking interest to create a talent pool for future Operations Manager - Hospitality opportunities.
As an Operations Manager - Hospitality at TAFE NSW, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective coordination of staff, facilities, equipment and supplies that support hospitality training and service operations.
Partnering with educators,
suppliers and key stakeholders, you will lead the delivery of efficient and compliant hospitality operations across campus facilities. This role is instrumental in maintaining high service standards, optimising resources and driving continuous improvement, while fostering a collaborative environment that delivers exceptional experiences for students, staff and visitors alike.
About you
You are a driven operations professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Highly organised and adaptable, you can balance multiple priorities, respond to changing operational needs and keep services running smoothly. You bring experience in team leadership, purchasing and supplier management, along with a solid commitment to compliance, continuous improvement and achieving operational goals through collaboration and a customer-first approach.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline OR equivalent skills knowledge and experience.
- Hospitality experience, with knowledge of recipes and food ordering in a commercial environment.
Highly Regarded:
- Hold a Chef, Baker, Patisserie and/or Hospitality qualification
- Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card
- Hold a NSW Food Safety Supervisors Certificate
- Hold a current Drivers Licence
