Steelers Club is looking for an experienced and motivated Club Attendant / Relief Shift Supervisor to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Club or hospitality professional who is ready to take on additional responsibility and develop their leadership skills.

The role will primarily work across Bar, Gaming and Reception, with the opportunity to step up and take responsibility for the Club's operations when rostered as Relief Shift Supervisor. You must be available to work night shift and weekends.

Key responsibilities

As a Club Attendant, you will provide excellent customer service while supporting the smooth operation of the Club.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Providing friendly, professional service to members and guests.

- Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails.

- Preparing and serving coffee and providing tray service.

- Providing gaming service across gaming machines, TAB and Keno.

- Assisting with gaming machine clearances as required.

- Maintaining clean, safe and well-presented bar, gaming and patron areas.

- Operating POS and EFTPOS systems and maintaining accurate cash handling.

- Checking customer identification and ensuring Club entry requirements are followed.

- Welcoming members and guests and assisting with Club enquiries.

- Signing in members and guests in accordance with Club requirements.

- Promoting and processing Club memberships.

- Monitoring patron behaviour and reporting issues to the appropriate Team Leader or Manager.

- Completing cleaning and operational duties to Steelers' standards.

- Following all Club policies, procedures and legislative requirements.

Relief Shift Supervisor

When rostered as Relief Shift Supervisor,



you will take on additional responsibility for the smooth and effective operation of the Club during the shift.

This may include:

- Providing direction, support and leadership to Club Attendants.

- Supporting staff to deliver consistently high customer service.

- Monitoring the Club's operations and responding to issues as they arise.

- Supporting compliance with RSA, RCG, WHS, harm minimisation and other legislative requirements.

- Monitoring patron behaviour and dealing with operational issues appropriately.

- Ensuring incidents, hazards and other concerns are reported and recorded.

- Communicating with management regarding operational matters.

- Leading by example and promoting a positive and professional team culture.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience in a registered club, hospitality or similar environment.

- Has strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

- Is confident working across bar, gaming and reception.

- Has excellent communication skills.

- Can confidently provide direction and support to other team members.

- Is calm, professional and capable of dealing with challenging situations.

- Has strong observational skills and attention to detail.

- Can multitask and work effectively in a busy environment.

- Shows initiative and is willing to take responsibility.

- Is reliable, punctual and well presented.

- Can work independently as well as part of a team.





- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of service and presentation.ork experience within a Licensed Club or hospitality venue is preferred

- Responsible Service of Alcohol Accreditation

- Responsible Conduct of Gambling Accreditation

- Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling Accreditation

- Sound computer skills

- Strong cash-handling skills

- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills

- Excellent communication and leadership

- Problem-solving and decision-making

- Punctual and reliable

Essential Requirements

- Must be available to work weekends and night shifts

You must hold:

- Current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

- Current NSW Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG)

- Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) (Preferred)

Previous experience in a licensed club, hospitality, gaming or security environment will be highly regarded.
