Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading global law firm to recruit a Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Technology practice in Sydney.

This is an excellent prospect for a senior technology lawyer to work on complex, high-profile matters alongside market-leading practitioners, with significant client exposure and the opportunity to work across both Australian and international matters.

The Role

The practice advises major organisations across the rapidly evolving technology and digital economy, acting for both technology providers and users on matters including:

- Technology and commercial contracts
- Technology sourcing and procurement
- Outsourcing and managed services
- Telecommunications and communications
- Digital regulation
- Data privacy and information management
- Cybersecurity and online safety
- Media and broadcasting regulation
- Emerging technology and digital products





The team operates in a highly collaborative workplace, working closely with colleagues across Australia and internationally. The role offers strong opportunities for professional development, client relationship building and progression within a market-leading practice.

About You

The successful candidate will have 5–8 years' PAE gained within a top-tier or leading international law firm.

Additionally, you will have:

- Strong experience in complex technology, commercial and/or regulatory matters;
- Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated technology contracts and commercial agreements;
- Experience advising on the supply and procurement of goods and services, particularly within the digital, technology, telecommunications or media sectors;
