The Role
Spicers Clovelly Estate is seeking an experienced and passionate Wedding & Events Executive to join our team and help deliver exceptional wedding and event experiences.
As a member of our wider Salter Brothers Hospitality team, you’ll play a key role in creating meaningful experiences for both our guests and teammates through thoughtful service, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The role and key duties
- Create personalised and memorable guest experiences from first contact to event completion.
- Manage the end-to-end coordination of weddings and events across the retreat.
- Respond promptly to enquiries, qualify opportunities, and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
- Conduct site inspections and client consultations to understand event requirements, preferences, and budgets.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, event orders, timelines, and run sheets.
- Provide expert guidance on event planning, menus, styling, and guest experiences.
- Coordinate with internal departments including F&B;, culinary, housekeeping, and front office teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including florists, photographers, stylists, and entertainers.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure event collateral, sales kits, and promotional material remain current.
- Manage event administration, payments, account settlements, and post-event follow-up.
You'll thrive in this role if you have...
- Diploma in Events, Hospitality Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 2-3 years' experience in event planning and sales, ideally within a luxury hospitality workplace.
- Previous wedding coordination experience, including liasiing directly with brides and guests
- Experience using Salesforce CRM, Event Temple, or similar systems (preferred).
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Outstanding customer service, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- Reliable transportation to and from the retreat.
- Based locally or willing to relocate to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland region.
