At EP, our maintenance team keeps our production lines running safely, reliably and efficiently, so we can deliver quality product to our customers every day. Behind every smooth-running shift is a team that takes pride in getting the small things right, from routine equipment prep to keeping machines clean, inspected and ready to run.
What you will do
You will report to the Maintenance Team Leader. Your main job is to keep equipment clean, prepared, inspected and ready for production, supporting the wider Maintenance Team.
Day to day, you will:
- Complete machine preparation, lubrication, cleaning and inspection tasks
- Support changeovers and equipment readiness activities
- Follow risk assessments, LOTO, PPE and safety requirements, and report anything outside your authorised competency
- Record maintenance activities, spare parts usage and inventory transactions accurately
- Help with food safety, GMP and hygiene requirements (SQF)
- Keep your work area and tools clean and tidy
- Work well with production staff, contractors and the wider Maintenance Team
What we are looking for
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn (trade qualification not required)
- Basic computer skills (e.g. MS Office)
- Good literacy and numeracy
- Comfortable using hand tools
- Food/FMCG manufacturing awareness and a strong safety focus
- Clear communication

- Forklift licence
