Highly respected and busy Tier 1 builder are looking for a Project Engineer to join the team to work on a brand current large commercial project in the Hills district.

The company undertake projects in a variety of sectors up to $3 bil including data centres, education, large CBD jobs and other commercial projects.

They are looking for a Project Engineer who is strong on all things structure and has proven prior experience in delivering highly technical and large scale projects for a reputable builder.

Responsibilities:

- Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and budgeting
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely, cost-effective delivery
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contracts, and regulations
- Prepare and maintain project documentation (schedules, contracts, change orders)
- Monitor progress and update managers on milestones and issues
- Coordinate with team members to complete tasks on time and within budget




- Track expenses and provide regular updates to managers
- Identify and resolve issues, escalating to managers as needed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Project Engineer on projects over $75 mil
- Proven experience working for a Tier 1,2 or 3 Builder
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in project engineering within the construction industry
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset
- Reliable references
- Must already be in Australia to be considered for this role
- Experience working on commercial type projects within Australia
