- Support coherent pathways across the Science disciplines and relevant senior courses, considering student interests, aspirations and school priorities.
- Coach and support teachers, encourage professional dialogue and help create a team culture marked by trust, consistency and high expectations.
- Work with relevant staff to maintain safe, well-organised practical learning, including sound risk management, laboratory procedures, equipment and resources.
- Build inquiry, STEM, competition,

extension and community connections that give students meaningful ways to explore and apply their learning.
- Collaborate with teaching, pastoral and student-support leaders so curriculum decisions and classroom practice respond well to diverse learners.
- Teach Science and model engaging, evidence-informed and inclusive professional practice.

What you will bring

- Appropriate teaching qualifications and current or provisional TRBWA registration, or eligibility to obtain registration before commencement.
- Strong Secondary Science curriculum knowledge and experience in practical learning, assessment and relevant senior pathways.
- Successful leadership experience, or clear readiness to step into leadership, with evidence of improving teaching practice or student outcomes.
- The ability to develop people, build alignment and lead respectful, evidence-based conversations about curriculum and performance.
- A sound understanding of laboratory safety, risk management and the professional responsibilities associated with practical Science.
- Strong organisation, judgement and communication, together with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
- A Working with Children Check, satisfactory National Police History Check, valid First Aid certification and mandatory-reporting training, or capacity to satisfy these requirements before commencement.

Experienced curriculum leaders and strong aspiring leaders are encouraged to apply.
