Located in Rockhampton, Kingsley College has seen a steady growth of students over the last five years. Founded in 1993, our college educates students with a Christian worldview, emphasising the Word of God and the Lordship of Christ in their service to the world. We currently have more than 280 students studying on campus and via distance education. Kingsley's campus is home to our Early Learning Centre. Opened in 2022, our centre has modern built-for-purpose facilities, and we nurture and educate children aged 3-4, preparing them for school life.

About the Opportunity

Kingsley College is looking for full-time Early Childhood Teachers to join their Early Learning Centre in North Rockhampton, QLD, commencing Term 1, 2027.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Deliver developmentally appropriate programs for a mixed-age early childhood group
- Facilitate quality Christian learning experiences guided by the Reggio Emilia approach
- Observe, document, and assess each child’s learning and development
- Contribute to the Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) and continuous improvement activities
- Partner with families to support each child’s learning and wellbeing
- Collaborate with colleagues to create positive learning experiences
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive early learning environment

The centre operates from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

About You

To qualify,



you will need a Bachelor-level Early Childhood Teaching qualification and Queensland Teacher Registration (or eligibility to obtain registration). Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

- Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- A heart for Christian education and the ability to integrate faith naturally in daily practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with families and staff
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning programs
