Your BAU:
- Lead CIOG-wide operational performance frameworks, KPIs and SLAs, ensuring clear metrics, reporting and accountability.
- Drive integrated planning, budgets and resource allocation across CIOG, aligned with University priorities and constraints.
- Uplift service delivery discipline, governance and ways of working to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
- Lead cross function strategic initiatives and specialist capabilities to enhance organisational effectiveness, employee experience, digital accessibility, operational performance and delivery of CIOG activities
Your profile:
You are a strong leader who uses exceptional communication skills to navigate a large, complex organisation.
Your organisational and interpersonal strengths help turn concepts into strategies, implemented across CIOG and the wider University.
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications: A degree in Business,
Commerce or equivalent combination of relevant training, education and experience.
- Seniority: Substantial management experience in a large, complex organisation, focused on operations and performance.
- Innovative Thinker: Proven ability to operate creatively, using initiative to identify opportunities and overcome challenges.
- Operational Performance: Expertise in designing and embedding KPI, SLA and dashboard frameworks across diverse functions.
- Financial and Procurement Acumen: Robust budgeting, forecasting and procurement governance experience, delivering cost savings and value.

This role requires that the successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. You will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures if you don’t have one already.
Your New Team – Chief Information Officer Group
You will join the Chief Information Officer Group, the University’s integrated and highly regarded IT function.
The group provides stable, reliable technology services while increasingly focusing on digital, data and customer experience.
Working within the Chief Operating Officer portfolio, you will drive performance, governance and contemporary ways of working.
You will collaborate closely with leaders across CIOG and the University to align planning and service delivery.
