About the Role: A hands-on role managing the day-to-day operations of Marketplace.

n

Key Accountabilities:

n

n
- Monitor and enhance guest service activities of the location
n
- Maintain adequate levels of stock, including ordering of stock.
n
- Receipt of goods; liaise with suppliers on quality issues
n
- Ensure Marketplace presentation is to company standard
n
- Implementation and maintenance of food and beverage systems
n
- Provide a safe work environment by ensuring all team members have knowledge of safetyequipment and emergency procedures and by facilitating safe work behaviors
n
- Ensure all equipment and log books are updated
n
- Ensure the correct implementation of core range, promotions, new product lines and initiatives, as directed by National F&B; Operations Manager/ General Manager
n
- Ensure practices relating to responsible service of alcohol are adhered to
n
- House policy is followed
n
- Ensure Marketplace is open/closed according to procedures and on time
n
- Ensure that the areas surrounding Marketplace are clean and tidy at all times and supervise and/or conduct regular checks of these areas
n




- Ensure that all equipment isoperating effectively, is clean and presentable, and serviced as per requirements
n

Train and motivate team members

n

n
- Provide leadership to team members. Give clear directions and instructions to staff on shift.
n
- Ensure all teams product knowledge is to an acceptable level.
n
- Acknowledge and reward good performance and nurture career development of staff by conducting regularperformance appraisals in conjunction with General Manager.
n
- Assist in meeting revenue and expense budgets for the location.
n
- Maximise sales through process and product knowledge
n
- Assist in maximising revenue and yield per patron.
n
- Ensure accurate, efficient cash handling and audit procedures are carried out
n
- Maintain COGS at appropriate level as indicated by the company
n

n

Complete stocktakes, analyse and solve all stock related issues.

n

n
- Tracking and analysis of wastage and ullage
n

n

Ensure team members are Customer Obsessed

n

Complete all duties as per standard operating procedures.

n

n
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene through diligent cleaning practices throughout the cinema complex.
n
- RSA qualifications as required.
n
