Workforce International are seeking an experienced and reliable MR Driver to join the team in the Newcastle area. This is a casual position, offering a great opportunity to work within an established and friendly team. This role has a strong view to permanency for the right candidate

About the Role:

n

38 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

n

$35.96/hour

n

Immediate start for the right candidate

n

Central Newcastle location

n

View to permanency for the right person

n

What you'll be doing:

n

n
- Safely operating and maintaining a range of MR vehicles to transport aluminium products
n
- Adhering to all relevant road rules, regulations and safety protocols
n
- Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles as required
n
- Providing excellent customer service and on-time deliveries
n




- Completing accurate documentation and trip logs
n
- Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of assigned vehicles
n

n

A successful candidate will:

n

n
- Valid NSW MR Licence (or higher)
n
- Experience in a similar driving role (experience in warehousing desired however not necessary)
n
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical assessment (including D&A; screening)
n
- Solid knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
n
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently
n
- Reliable, punctual and able to work a flexible schedule
n
