About the role

Due to ongoing expansion, Super Metal Recycling is seeking experienced HR Truck Drivers to join our rapidly growing operation based in Dandenong South, servicing Melbourne South-East and regional Victoria.

This is a day-shift role offering consistent work, modern equipment, and regular overtime opportunities. We're looking for professional drivers who know their job, take pride in their driving, and want secure, long-term employment with a company that’s growing fast.

Key responsibilities

- Operate HR trucks safely and professionally
- Complete local and regional VIC runs




- Transport scrap metal between customer sites and company yards
- Load and unload using site-provided equipment
- Accurately complete run sheets and paperwork
- Conduct daily pre‑start and safety checks
- Comply with road, fatigue, and site safety regulations

What we're looking for

- Valid HR licence (essential)
- Minimum 2 years' experience driving HR trucks (essential)
- Proven reliability and strong work ethic
- Clean driving record
- Experience in recycling, waste, transport, or construction environments (preferred)
- Strong safety focus and professional attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Australian work rights required
