Carpenter - Staircases - 3rd or 4th year apprentice

We are a family owned business located in Smeaton Grange with over 20 years experience in the building industry specialising in Stairs, we are well know and have many of the large builders in NSW as our clients. We are an award winning business for trade and services in the Camden area.

About the role

n

We are seeking an enthusiastic Carpenter/Joiner to join our growing team, producing high-quality bespoke staircases for builders in the residential industry. This role involves onsite timber staircase installation, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, accuracy, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Interpret and work from shop drawings, plans, and specifications
n
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently
n
- Measure, cut, assemble, and finish staircase components to a high standard
n
- Work with solid timber
n
- Maintain a clean, organised, and secure work area
n
- Identify and resolve manufacturing issues proactively
n

Skills & Experience

n





n
- Strong understanding of stair construction methods and Australian Standards
n
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
n
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Must hold a White Card
n
- Must hold a Current NSW driver's licence
n

Qualifications (Preferred but Not Essential)

n

n
- Working towards your trade qualification in Carpentry, Joinery, or Cabinet Making we will look for anyone who is third year apprentice or higher
n
