Arete Concrete is a specialist commercial concrete contractor delivering high-rise structures , suspended slabs, post-tensioned concrete, structural works and concrete pumping across South-East Queensland.

As our workload continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Commercial Concrete Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day delivery of multiple projects across Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

n

This is an operational leadership role for someone who understands commercial concrete construction and knows how to keep projects moving safely, efficiently and on programme.

n

The Role

n

You'll work closely with our Construction Manager, Project Managers and Site Supervisors to coordinate labour, equipment and project delivery across multiple commercial sites.

n

The role is about planning ahead, solving problems before they happen and ensuring crews have everything they need to deliver successful projects.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Oversee the delivery of multiple commercial concrete projects.
n
- Coordinate labour, supervisors, plant and equipment across projects.
n
- Plan major pours, pumping operations and daily site activities.
n
- Ensure projects are properly resourced and running to programme.
n
- Work closely with builders, subcontractors and suppliers.
n
- Monitor productivity, quality and safety across all sites.
n
- Resolve operational issues quickly to minimise delays.
n
- Assist with workforce planning and recruitment when additional resources are required.
n
- Support site teams with planning, logistics and scheduling.
n




- Maintain accurate operational reporting and project information.
n
- Lead the daily operations planning meeting and confirm the following day's activities.
n

About You

n

You have extensive experience in commercial concrete construction and understand the realities of delivering high-rise projects.

n

You'll likely come from a background as an Operations Manager, Construction Manager, Senior Site Manager or Project Manager within the commercial concrete industry.

n

You'll also have:

n

- Strong commercial concrete experience.
n
- Experience managing multiple projects at once.
n
- Knowledge of concrete pumping operations and major structural pours.
n
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
n
- The ability to make decisions under pressure.
n
- Excellent communication with clients, site teams and suppliers.
n
- A practical, hands‐on leadership style.
n

Experience Required

n

Applicants should have demonstrated experience delivering commercial concrete projects, including:

- High-rise structures
n
- Suspended slabs
n
- Post-tensioned slabs
n
- Structural concrete
n
- Columns and cores
n
- Major concrete pours
n
- Concrete pumping operations
n

n

Experience in residential construction alone will not be suitable for this role.
