The Role

n

As a valued member of our accounting team, your keen attention to detail will play a vital role in driving our firm's continued growth and success. You'll work closely with our accounting team to support a range of bookkeeping and assistant accounting tasks, including:

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage bookkeeping and accounts across multiple entities with accuracy and compliance.
n
- Complete daily bank reconciliations in Xero.
n
- Process weekly payroll, including superannuation, in line with regulatory requirements.
n
- Prepare Payroll Tax reports and BAS accurately and on time.
n
- Manage creditors via Hubdoc to streamline accounts payable.
n
- Oversee debtor management to support healthy cash flow.
n
- Produce clear, timely management reporting packs for decision-making
n
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture
n

About You

n

n
- 2+ years' experience in Australian public practice
n
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, ideally within an internal accounting team environment.
n
- Strong proficiency in Xero and Hubdoc.
n
- Solid understanding of payroll, superannuation, and tax reporting requirements.
n
- Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to prioritise effectively.
n
- Confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Alignment with Total Business Partners' commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.
n
- Experience preparing tax returns is highly regarded but not essential.
